Dr. (Mrs.) Rose-Mary Owusuaa Mensah Gyening is a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. She holds a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science from KNUST, an MSc in Computer Science from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Germany, and a PhD in Computer Science from KNUST. She is a researcher with over seven years of experience in university-level teaching, researching, supervising, and mentoring at the undergraduate and postgraduate stages. Her specializations are artificial intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, and security. She is particularly interested in using artificial intelligence to solve societal problems, especially technological solutions for people with special needs and under-served populations.
