Gloria Edumaba Graham
Gloria Edumaba Graham is currently pursuing an MPhil at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where she also completed her undergraduate degree. During her undergraduate studies, Gloria embarked on a project to develop an intelligent system to prevent bedsores in immobile patients. This project sparked her passion for assistive robotics and solidified her commitment to creating technology that improves healthcare and quality of life for those in need.
As a Graduate Research Student at the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Lab (RAIL) at KNUST, she focuses on developing intelligent systems tailored for the visually and mobility impaired.
Between July and August 2024, she was a visiting researcher at ETH Zurich through the ETH Robotics Students Fellowship. She worked on a feature extraction toolbox at the Spinal Cord Injury and Artificial Intelligence Lab, which works closely with the Swiss Paraplegic Centre. This experience broadened her perspective and deepened her understanding of cutting-edge robotics technologies.
With a strong foundation in robotics and an unwavering commitment to leveraging technology for social good, Gloria Edumaba Graham is eager to continue contributing to the field of assistive robotics.
