RESPONSIBLE AI AND INCLUSIVE TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

The Responsible AI and Inclusive Technology Development theme focuses on creating AI-powered assistive devices for differently abled individuals. Notable projects include the I-See initiative, which enhances navigation for visually impaired users through advanced computer vision and language translation, and a cutting-edge AI hearing aid system designed to improve speech understanding in noisy environments using machine learning algorithms. Additionally, an AI-powered wheelchair will be developed to assist individuals with cognitive challenges, offering cost-effective, language-preferred communication and obstacle detection. The theme also involves refining the FACETS framework for evaluating Responsible AI innovations and guiding policy formulation for Responsible AI standards in participating countries.
