Ros Yaw Owusu-Ansah

Ros Yaw Owusu-Ansah is a passionate and dedicated student, researcher, and advocate in the field of disability and rehabilitation. With a strong academic foundation, He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Disability and Rehabilitation Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). His undergraduate thesis, “The Effect of COVID-19 on the Livelihoods of Persons with Disability,” conducted in the Ejisu municipal, showcased his commitment to understanding the complex challenges faced by individuals with disabilities.
Currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Disability, Rehabilitation, and Development at KNUST, he is driven to contribute meaningfully to the field. His research interests span inclusive education, accessibility, disability prevention, and rehabilitation, with a focus on promoting equal opportunities and social inclusion.
In addition to academic pursuits, he has served as a research and teaching assistant at KNUST’s Department of Health Promotion and Disability Studies. In this role, he guided undergraduate and master’s students in research methodologies and data analysis. This experience has honed his skills in mentoring and supporting students in achieving their research goals. |
