Amina holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University for Development Studies (UDS). She earned a Master’s degree from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS-Senegal), where she specialized in Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning and big data.

She is currently with the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Lab (RAIL), pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering at KNUST. Her research focuses on natural language processing (NLP), specifically on developing preprocessing techniques to extract shared features among native and non-native English speakers. The relevance of her research lies in enhancing transcription accuracy for both speaker groups.

Her interests include IoT, NLP, mathematical modeling, differential equations, and game theory.
