Jeffrey Kwame Owusu Ansah
Jeffrey Kwame Owusu Ansah is an emerging expert in the field of disability and rehabilitation, having recently graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Disability and Rehabilitation Studies, achieving First Class Honours. His thesis, titled “Overweight and Obesity in Patients with Mental Health Illnesses,” was conducted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, highlighting his commitment to addressing critical health issues in the community.
He is currently doing his Mphil in Disability, Rehabilitation and Development. His research interests encompass a range of topics, including Auditory Rehabilitation, Tinnitus Treatment, Stroke Treatment, Injury Prevention, Disability, and Rehabilitation. These interests reflect his dedication to improving the quality of life for individuals facing various health challenges.
He served as a research mentor, where he supported undergraduate and master’s students by guiding them through research methodologies, proposal writing, data collection, and data analysis.
In addition to his research endeavors, Jeffrey has valuable teaching experience as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Department of Health Promotion and Disability Studies at KNUST.
As a passionate advocate for health and rehabilitation, Jeffrey aims to make significant contributions to the fields of disability studies and rehabilitation, leveraging his academic background and practical experience to drive positive change in health outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
